Yuba City Asphalt Paving was founded in 2018 by a crew of experienced pavement professionals who had spent years working across the Sacramento Valley and wanted to build something closer to home. Yuba City was a natural fit - a working community with real needs, real homeowners, and commercial properties that had been overlooked by larger contractors focused on bigger metro markets.
From the start, the focus was on doing honest work for local people. The Sacramento Valley climate is hard on asphalt. Summer temperatures that regularly top 100 degrees bake surfaces dry, and the wet winters that follow push water into every crack and weak spot. The clay-heavy soils common to the valley floor shift between the dry season and the wet season, which puts added stress on driveways, parking lots, and any paved surface sitting on that ground. Knowing how to work in this environment takes real regional experience - and that is what our team brings.
Today, Yuba City Asphalt Paving serves Yuba City, Marysville, and more than ten surrounding communities. We are a locally owned business, and every job we do stays in our community. We tell you what your pavement actually needs - not what costs the most. If sealcoating will fix it, we say so. If it needs a full replacement, we say that too.
Your time matters. We confirm appointments, arrive on schedule, and finish the job without leaving you waiting for callbacks or rescheduling.
Every job is handled by our own trained crew, not subcontracted out. When you call with a question after the job is done, the same people who did the work will answer.
We protect your property while we work and clean up completely before we leave. Your driveway or parking lot should look better after we leave, not worse.

We carry active general liability insurance on every job. If something is damaged on your property during our work, you are covered.
Our bond provides an additional layer of financial protection, giving you recourse if a job is left incomplete or does not meet the agreed scope.
